Hi, I’m Tom! I’m a San Francisco based product designer, illustrator, and (Sometimes) photographer.

I’ve spent the past 13 years working for a variety of companies doing all sorts of things. While I got my start working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer for several bands around the bay area and Japan, I eventually found my way into digital product design. I absolutely love strategy, pushing pixels, and telling stories.

Currently, I’m working as a Product Design Manager at Scribd where I’m helping millions of users every month get the most out of their subscription. During my day to day, I manage a few designers, I’m the strategic lead for all of growth, and I also work as the designer for both the Acquisition and Payments teams. It’s a lot to juggle, but it’s also been an enjoyable challenge every step of the way.

I’ve always been someone who is obsessive about the quality of the experiences I put in front of my users, and as a teammate I am equally passionate about the relationships I create with the people I work alongside. I do whatever I can to make the workplace an enjoyable and supportive environment, even if that means telling yet another bad joke.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my super awesome son, Miles, and my equally awesome wife, Ciaee.
